Sabseg, the leading independent insurance broker in Spain and Portugal, has announced today the acquisition of Euromex and PG Corredores, two key brokerage firms that strengthen its position in the Spanish insurance market. In the words of Carles Alsina, CEO of Sabseg in Spain, “these two acquisitions bring us closer to our goal of closing the year with 600M in premiums brokered and €90M in commissions between Spain and Portugal, making us the fifth insurance brokerage group in Iberia, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Sabseg in Portugal.”
Since its founding in 1991 and led by Aitor Quincoces, Euromex has distinguished itself for its expertise in insurance for businesses and its specialization in adventure sports and leisure, with a portfolio of approximately 6 million euros in premiums. Its integration reinforces Sabseg's leadership in specific niches, expanding its capacity to manage risks in small and medium-sized enterprises, in addition to expertise in the public sector.
For its part, PG Corredores, founded in 1990 and based in Zaragoza, is a reference in the large risks sector, managing over 11 million euros in premiums. The experience of its founder Pedro Parra, his partner Pedro Borque, and the rest of the team in industrial, technical, and financial insurance allows Sabseg to expand its capacity to offer advanced and customized solutions in industrial risk management, reinforcing its presence in Aragón and other regions.
With these integrations, Sabseg not only expands its geographical network but also its offering of specialized services, combining sector experience, innovation, and a personalized approach to customer service.
